  10th IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis Systems was held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, March 27-29,2012.

  The single-track workshop featured invited talks, oral presentations, poster presentation, and demos, in which advanced technologies of document analysis was introduced and discussed.

  I made a poster presentation titled "A binarization approach for ukiyo-e rakkan extraction".

  That was the last presentation in last fiscal year. Get prepared for the new semester!

The single-track workshop featured invited talks, 7 sections of oral presentations, 68 poster presentations, and 2 demos, in which advanced technologies of document analysis was introduced and discussed.

 

I also made a poster presentation titled "Character Segmentation for Japanese Woodblock Printed Historical Books."

On March 23 2012, the doctoral degree conferral ceremony for academic year 2011 was held at Ritsumeikan university, Suzaku campus. 

 

I received the doctoral degree in Engineering. I would like to thank Prof. Hachimura for all his supports during my Ph.D. study and my stay in Japan.
